The creative duo shot to fame in the Irish fashion scene by presenting the RTE show Off The Rails, which saw the pair give glamorous makeovers to members of the public.

They later started the Lennon Courtney fashion brand in 2012 and have been working with Dunnes Stores for the last seven years.

Sonya revealed: “You may have heard the news that we’ve finished selling our beautiful clothes through Dunnes Stores.

“We wanted to say thank you for being the most amazing group of women we could possibly wish to dress.

“The love that you have shared in DMs sharing your own looks and stories and generally being fabulous has brought us so much joy.

“The good news is that Mummy and Daddy are not getting divorced. We are never not designing and continue to look at new ways to serve you.

“Our podcast will be returning soon with our new season Helpful Hints for Modern Living.

“Thank you also to Dunnes Stores for being such great supporters for seven years.”

“The fashion line is no longer available.”

Taking to social media, the pair shared messages from fans wishing them all the best in the future as they expressed their devastation at the end of the line.

SHOPPERS DEVASTATED

One person said: “Well this is a bit of a bummer – but hopefully something even better is on the way.”

One more said: “Sonya, the Lennon Courtney brand has been a gift to Irish women. Beautiful pieces that last. Thanks to you both for those collections, I hope we get more fabulous fashion from you in the future.”

While a third wrote: “Wishing @sonyalennon and @brendancourtney the very best.

“Thanks for all the style inspiration over the years.

“From Off The Rails to fashion collections and from advocacy to charity work you continue to motivate and empower women and marginalised communities.”

Elsewhere, Dunnes Stores fans are set to go wild over new designer bag dupes – and they’re €2,680 cheaper.

The Savida Chunky Chain Colour Block Bag, priced at €20, is available in stores and online now.

It is available in green and orange and would be perfect for St Patrick’s Day.

The description on the website reads: “This showstopper from Savida is sure to boost any ensemble.

“Crafted in a highly on-trend woven design, the faux leather bag features two removable chunky chains, a snap button closure, and a roomy main compartment, with a zipped interior pocket that is ideal for storing important cards.”
