A ZERO waste fashion retailer is opening its first ‘bricks and mortar’ store in Glasgow.

Hit and Run, whose celebrity fans include singers Sam Smith and Olly Alexander, has not revealed its planned location yet, but confirmed it was looking at areas in the Southside.

The brand was founded in 2020 by Scottish designer and entrepreneur Mickey Ellis and the “gallery-style” Glasgow store, complete with digital technology, aims to “reinvent the fashion retail experience.”

Collections feature those by established, unknown and up-and-coming names, including Patrick McDowell, Paisley-born Pam Hogg (who has designed for Rihanna and Lady Gaga, among many others), Adam Frost and Elizabeth Ilsley.
