Fashion Designer Rebecca Minkoff Filming Real Housewives of New York City

  • April 21, 2024

Fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff has indeed filmed some housewives-of-new-york” data-ylk=”slk:Real Housewives of New York City;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas” class=”link “Real Housewives of New York City scenes, Reality Tea can confirm. However, a source close to production has said her role on the show is yet to be determined. Despite filming with some of the Season 15 ladies, she’s not guaranteed to land a full-time spot. Bravo is yet to confirm whether or not she will snatch an apple and place in the opening credits, or if she’ll simply be cast in a “friend of” role. It could also be that none of these two things happen, and she’s simply not the right fit.

Rebecca’s eye for fashion might be the perfect Real Housewives fit

Rebecca founded her self-titled American fashion brand alongside her brother, Uri Minkoff, in 2005. It specializes in a wide range of apparel, such as jewellery and handbags. Rebecca Minkoff retail stores are scattered around the world, from New York, to Tokyo, and the brand is distributed in over 900 stores separately.

While Rebecca’s name and Real Housewives hadn’t been mentioned in the same sentence publicly ahead of this week, she might be a natural new addition. Jenna Lyons is, after all, entering her sophomore season. She quickly became a fan favorite after debuting in Season 14. Could the same happen with Rebecca?

Rebecca has previously opened up about her “study” of Scientology. “I’m Jewish so I have my beliefs with Judaism and God and I go to Scientology to learn knowledge, she said during a podcast appearance in October 2021.

She also shut down critics of the faith. “I’ve been around it and in it for the better part of 20

Alice McCall shares ‘terrifying’ health battle after her business collapsed

  • April 9, 2024

An Aussie fashion designer has shared a “terrifying” health update, just over a year after her prestigious brand collapsed, owing $1 million in debt.

Alice McCall has revealed that six months before her fashion brand of the same name went into liquidation, she began experiencing a strange physical symptom that she said has left her no longer able to feel touch on her body, something she’s still living with today.

At the same time, the struggling fashion designer said she also “suddenly” started to feel “disconnected from the world”, describing it as though she had been “unplugged energetically from my surroundings”.

“I experienced a loss of sensation on my whole skin surface… It feels like my whole somatosensory nervous system had deregistered,” she wrote.

“There was a real sense of numbness and disconnect.

“Both sensations have not come back. It’s extremely difficult to experience.”

Ms McCall, who launched her once hugely successful brand in 2004, went on to state her poor health had left her mental health in tatters.

“Every day I feel detached and depressed, but try not to focus on it and just get on with it,” she explained to her 30,000 followers.

“I have tried countless modalities, seen neurologists, naturopaths, GPs, energy healers, psychics, plant medicine you name it.

“Some have been very helpful but I have had no resolve with the actual issues.”

She went on to describe her symptoms as an “abstract condition” that has been hard for health professionals to “understand and diagnose”, leaving her feeling incredibly isolated.

Fans of the fashion designer were quick to comment, sharing their support and suggestions, in a bid to help Ms McCall find some resolution.

“Lots of love @alicemccall ♥️ clearly not a doctor, but it’s very possible these symptoms are stress related. The timeline makes sense?

Fashion designer from Shreveport talks about road to sucess | Entertainment

  • February 22, 2024

SHREVEPORT, La. — Growing up, Shreveport native Stephen Goudeau has always had an eye for fashion. Recently, he has gained a following in the New York fashion industry.

“It was an experience. I think Shreveport is a great place to be raised. Also, it basically inspires you to grow, go see the world. And I think it keeps the home honest,” said Goudeau.

Goudeau said fashion has always been a part of his life, even growing up in Shreveport. He says he initially got his inspiration to become a fashion designer from his family.

“My parents had a lot to do with it. They were really big on style. Basically, they would keep me, you know, first, of course. My parents always stayed tailored. My mom was a tailor, and my dad was very fashion forward and I just always had a need for it. It was always like my sixth sense. The original name of my brand was called Studio Sixth Sense and they converted it to Stephen Goudeau” said Goudeau.

After his brand was converted to Stephen Goudeau, he saw more success. The fashion designer has more designs and projects in the near future.

“I have a few things coming up. Right now I am working on a new show called Maison de Godot, The House of Godot. So it’s Maison de la French.  Last year it became so huge. The expectations exceed.  So, we decided to do part two. So this year we’re doing bigger and better as in Dallas, Texas, it’s going to be at the Tower Club on Friday for the best view in Dallas. And I’m just excited,” said Goudeau

Goudeau says he’s also getting ready to launch a new clothing collection.

“I am coming out with a new signature collection. So

49er fullback Kyle Juszczyk ‘stoked’ for his fashion designer wife

  • January 23, 2024

Forget the football game this weekend: One member of the 49ers just wanted to talk about his wife, and how her clothing line has gone viral.

In a locker room interview on Tuesday, fullback Kyle Juszczyk told reporters how thrilled and proud he is of his wife, Kristin, a fashion designer now being called up by Vogue regarding her hand-sewn jackets modeled by Taylor Swift and other athletes’ wives.

“I’m so stoked for her,” he said. “I just know how hard she grinded.”

What thrust Kristin Juszcyk into the spotlight was when pop superstar-turned-Chiefs fan Taylor Swift wore one of her puffy winter coats looked like the jersey of Swift’s boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, to a playoff game in frigid Kansas City on Saturday night.

Kristin Juszczyk has been making custom designs for several years, starting with Halloween costumes and growing to outfits she has worn to her husband’s games.

Even some of the 49ers players, such as receiver Deebo Samuel, have worn her creations this season, as well as people such as Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, whose husband, Jonathan Owens, plays for the Green Bay Packers, and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

That led to an opening to send a Travis Kelce jacket to Swift, who ended up wearing it to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins game, making the designer a mini-celebrity, who drew interest from wide-ranging outlets such as Vogue Magazine and ESPN football insider Adam Schefter.

“To see Taylor wearing it, and it looked awesome, it was just incredible,” Kyle Juszczyk said. “We are so happy at our

  • December 11, 2023

How does it feel to have your creative work admired by internationally renowned celebrities? According to Springfield fashion designer Justin Haynes, it’s totally surreal.

Haynes had a brief but meaningful minute in the spotlight on national television Thursday while sitting in the audience of the daytime talk show “LIVE with Kelly and Mark,” which stars TV personalities Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos.

Haynes said he has been helping talk show stylists put together wardrobes for their shows recently, and was asked to stay and sit in the audience to watch the show.

In a moment that was caught on camera, movie star Melissa McCarthy, who was a guest on Thursday’s show, was visibly impressed as she walked out on stage by the outfits Haynes and his models were wearing as audience members in the first row.

In the clip, you can see McCarthy come out to greet the audience and stop when she catches a glimpse of Haynes and his models.

Melissa McCarthy noticed Springfield fashion designer Justin Haynes’ clothing as he sat in the audience with some of his models during the Nov. 30, 2023, episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark.”Justin Haynes

“I love that,” she says, before realizing there’s a group of four all dressed in Haynes’ signature patchwork-forward style. “Oh my god, what’s going on?” she says while pointing to the four of them in awe and admiration.

Once McCarthy goes to sit with Ripa and Consuelos, she asks “What’s happening there?” while pointing to Haynes and his group. Ripa, who Haynes said noticed and talked to him earlier, replies “The gentleman in the yellow sweater is a designer … He designed everything in that front row.”

Fashion designer Blu Boy partners with Toyota to bring clothing visions to life

  • November 23, 2023

Blu Boy wanted a way to express his artistry, so he decided to design clothing. Born in Atlanta, Blu Boy feels he’s at his best when he’s able to design clothes from scratch, which led him to create his own clothing brand, WNTD. Almost a decade later, he wanted to make designing easier for others and created the “Blu Prints Sketchbook.”

Blu Boy was present at ComplexCon 2023 where he partnered with Toyota to have people take advantage of his sketchbook and create their own designs. He spoke with rolling out about ComplexCon, being a fashion designer, and the importance of Black designers.

How did you present your book at ComplexCon?

I came up with the “Blu Prints Sketchbook” three months ago. It’s a fashion template sketchbook designed to cut the time of fashion design in half. All the templates are already drawn out for you. You get different T-shirts, hats, hoodies, and all types of stuff. I’m doing a workshop, having people use the product, and helping them take advantage of it because it’s brand new, and I’m passionate about it. Getting it in schools and here at ComplexCon is the perfect place to get people to know about it.

When did you know you wanted to be a fashion designer?

When I first started my career as a fashion designer, I would always share my designs online, and people thought that was weird because they said that I was giving my designs and others could steal the ideas, but it helped me understand fashion better because I never went to fashion school. I was doing the design to not only learn more about the clothes but also to leave breadcrumbs. I have been doing that online since 2016 and now seven years later, I’m giving people the

Escaping War, Ukrainian Designer Crafts A Life, And A Show, In Paris

  • September 25, 2023

Five months after arriving in the French capital, it was only upon seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time that Olha Sakhno fully realized she was in Paris. This was the city she’d dreamed of her whole life as an aspiring fashion designer in Ukraine.

But her path to the City of Lights was dark.

When war came to her hometown of Pokrovsk in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region — now on the front lines of the country’s battle against invading Russian forces — the 43-year-old didn’t dare evacuate at first. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age, Sakhno has spent most of her life in a wheelchair and has needed the help and support of relatives and specialists in learning to eat, sit, and talk.

Sakhno and her father waited a month in Pokrovsk after the fighting began. She had heard that other countries were accepting Ukrainian refugees, but it seemed too risky — until it became clear that the biggest danger was not deciding.

“My dad and I were sitting in our apartment when there were two explosions. One was in the cafe next door, and the second was on the ninth floor of our building. We hit the floor, and I lay there thinking, ‘If I stay here, I will either die or become even more crippled from stress and fright,” Sakhno recalls.

She posted requests for evacuation on social networks, and while the subsequent journey — more than a solid day of traveling on a bus — was difficult and painful, the people she met who helped her along the way were beacons of hope. Complete strangers helped with the logistics and the financing of her trip, and looked out for her along the way.

Plus-Size CEO Of Noir Fashion Week Rethinks New York Fashion Week

  • September 14, 2023

As we head into New York Fashion Week, let’s hope that things are looking better than last season when it comes to body size representation. Back in Spring, NYFW was getting called out for some of the lowest plus-size visibility on the runway in recent history. Meanwhile Noir Fashion Week was highlighting underrepresented designers – and underrepresented bodies – at the very same time in New York.

Nichole M. Bess is the founder of Noir Fashion Week. She sees her brainchild as a response to the lack of diversity in the fashion world broadly and at NYFW specifically. Bess says that NFW is a platform for the “overlooked and what some would deem as underqualified. I see NFW as an opportunity to uncover the diamond in the ruff.” Noir Fashion Week was built on Bess’ love of fashion and her drive to give global visibility to marginalized people.

At 19, Bess was interning with Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons as a fashion designer. They later introduced her to Naomi Campbell, which ultimately led to a pivot into public relations. “I started my own PR firm right before my 20th birthday,” shares Bess. “As I was studying to become a fashion designer, I found a love for making dreams come true through the power of media visibility and storytelling. As a budding publicist I knew this was why I was created. I committed full-time to this newfound passion and went all in. I booked clients like Wolford, Saks Fifth Avenue, Betsey Johnson, Agatha of Paris, Deon and Pilar Sanders and many more.”

Bess says she hopes that NFW will outlive her and become known
